Sindhri mangoes are the opening act of the Pakistani harvest, and for a lot of households they are the favorite. Grown in the Sindh region, they are elongated rather than round, turn a clear yellow when ripe, and eat sweet, aromatic, and fibreless. If you want mangoes in Canada before Chaunsa is even coloring on the tree, Sindhri is the crate to book.

What makes Sindhri different
Shape is the giveaway: Sindhri is longer and slightly flatter than Chaunsa, with a pronounced “beak” on many fruits. Flavor is honeyed rather than musky, with a lot of juice. The flesh is creamy and smooth — one of the reasons Sindhri is used for lassi, kulfi, and plain eating out of hand.
Because it is an early variety, Sindhri is also how we test logistics every year. When the first Sindhri boxes land in Canada clean and fragrant, the rest of the season can follow.
Sindhri season
Expect May into June for Canada arrivals, with some year-to-year movement based on winter in Sindh. It does not wait for Chaunsa, and it should not be stored hoping it will. Sindhri is meant to be eaten at the front of summer. Details sit on the season calendar.
How we pack it
2kg gross per box, typically 4–7 fruits (Sindhri runs larger than Anwar Ratol). Bundles of four boxes; minimum order 8 boxes. Same rules as the rest of the catalogue: we are exporting eating fruit, not decorating a produce aisle.
Sindhri for families and for wholesale
Households in Canada often take Sindhri as the “first share” and add Chaunsa later. Distributors like Sindhri because it creates an early-season event — the first Pakistani mango on the shelf — and because the fruit is visually distinct. Volume buyers should enquire as a distributor rather than checking out eight boxes at a time.
