Choosing a variety
Which Pakistani mango should I buy first?
If you are ordering one variety, start with Chaunsa (also spelled Chausa). Split a first order with Sindhri to open the season and Chaunsa for the main table. Anwar Ratol is the smaller, more concentrated fruit.
Are Chaunsa and Chausa the same?
Yes. Spellings vary in English; the fruit is the same Multan-belt variety.
How many mangoes are in a box?
About 5–7 Chaunsa, 4–7 Sindhri, or 8–13 Anwar Ratol per 2kg box, depending on calibre. Minimum order is 8 boxes.
Order the variety that is actually in season.
Availability follows the harvest. If a mango is listed, that is the week to reserve.
